Driving home at Christmas

As part of #HighwaysHack at ODI Leeds, we analysed the STATS-19 data set from the Department of Transport for Great Britain for the years 2005-2014. The day of the year with fewest injuries for child pedestrians is Christmas day and the second safest is Boxing day. That may be because those under 18 are all inside playing with their presents. Nevertheless, if you find yourself driving home at Christmas, make sure to take care on the roads.
