Bump. Bump. Bump. That is the sound of Santa's sleigh hitting potholes.

Leeds City Council recently identified areas to spend extra funding made available from the Department for Transport as a one off grant to repair and prevent potholes forming. The pothole action fund planned repairs are available on Data Mill North and we've displayed them here with our ward-hex-mapping tool.

On Data Mill North you will find historic pothole data and data from the Roadee project by Leeds Beckett University. Roadee used 10 mobile phones in 10 council vehicles to identify road roughness and potentially identify potholes before they appear. They've set a challenge to help them make sense of the data they've collected.
