Talk: Working together to improve open data in health and social care

About Chris Roebuck

Associate Director and Chief Statistician, Data Services Directorate

I am Chief Statistician at NHS Digital. I am passionate about improving the utility of our data to benefit patients and citizens and ensuring our 250 official statistics and open data releases each year best meet users’ needs.

Before this I have had a number of roles in its predecessor organisations, including covering Data Dissemination and Hospital Episode Statistics.

I live in Leeds with my partner and daughter. In my spare time, I am a very enthusiastic runner and member of my local club: Horsforth Harriers. I also enjoy playing chess.
