Leeds Service Jam

We're jamming! Join Leeds Service Jam this February at ODI Leeds

Taking place at ODI Leeds from the evening of Friday 17 February through to Sunday 19 February, Leeds Service Jam is a part of Global Service Jam, an annual event that connects people across the planet through a secret theme and a common purpose. The purpose is for participants to learn more about service design by doing service design – and to have a tonne of fun and meet new people while doing it!

Fast-paced prototyping

Participants have 48 hours to problem-solve through service design (to make something useful and human-centred). Jam principles highlight learning by doing and making interactive prototypes, not presentations. Everyone has different backgrounds and skills and everyone helps each other out. As a result, the Global Service Jam is great for anyone wanting to explore things like collaboration, creativity and teamwork too. People spend money on books and classes to learn about design and innovation, but jams give real hands-on experience of all these things and a lot more. Despite working to a tight deadline, jams are playful, a safe space to try out and learn new things.

3 good reasons to jam

  • It will be fun!
  • You will learn something new!
  • You will spend time with good people in our ace space!
