New sponsor - OpenDataSoft
ODI Leeds is excited to announce a new partnership with OpenDataSoft to support development of data-driven innovation in the UK.
As a pioneer node, we work as an ambassador for the ODIs global network, using peer learning and collaboration with the public and private sectors in the region as well as the greater community to understand and use open data for innovative projects and solutions on a regional, national or global basis.
We regularly organise workshops and events to support all kinds of organisations aiming to innovate with their data, from Ofcom to Yorkshire Water to Transport for the North.
"We are thrilled to welcome OpenDataSoft as a new sponsor. They join 14 other organisations who have all embraced our mission to affect real change through innovation with data. They are committed to using and publishing more open data for the benefit of citizens and to create future value. OpenDataSoft will benefit from connecting with their fellow sponsors and our wider network of engaging data enthusiasts."
OpenDataSoft and ODI Leeds will work together to support the development of open data with a hands-on approach:
- make it easier for organisations to open and share their data
- work with organisations from various sectors, beyond cities and regional governments, to open new perspectives of collaboration between private companies and public bodies, through open data.
