Announcing Northernlands 3 - Save the date!

It is fantastic to be able to announce Northernlands 3 on 15 & 16 March 2021.
This will be an Innovation & startup online festival with our partners - the Kingdom of the Netherlands and West Yorkshire Combined Authority.
For 2021, we've learned a lot about delivering an event of this scale whilst keeping things fun and friendly for speakers and attendees alike. We've also made some fantastic friends through the Embassy for The Kingdom of the Netherlands, who will be supporting the event for a third year. Everything will be digital again, with 2-days of talks from amazing speakers, start-ups and scale-ups from the UK and from the Netherlands, with talks and showcases that cover:
- Innovation with Health Data, including our #OpenDataSavesLives work
- Economy and Future of Work
- Mobility and Urban Living
- Climate Emergency, building on our #PlanetData work
- Data Rights, Security, and Safety, which cuts across all of the above

West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) are a new supporter for this year's event and will be helping to support and share Northernlands 3, which will feed very nicely into their Innovation Festival, date to be confirmed.
This is the third in our Northernlands series. We have held two Northernlands events so far - one in 2019 (in person), and one in 2020 (entirely digital) - bringing together speakers from across the UK and from the Netherlands, all of them working on innovative projects or initiatives. You can find all of the speakers talks on our YouTube channel.
We will be busy planning the sessions and confirming the speakers, so please keep an eye on our Twitter thread and our blog for announcements and/or opportunities to be involved. You can also email us if you'd like to be involved.
