Leeds Digital Festival 2020

Leeds Digital Festival is the biggest tech and digital event in the North, with thousands of visitors and hundreds of world-class workshops, screenings, and talks. It is an opportunity to showcase the diversity and ingenuity of the tech and digital community in Leeds and beyond. At ODI Leeds, we are excited to have a programme of events this year. We will start an open discussion about what it means to use data to save lives. We want to invite you to take action against the climate crisis. We have an opportunity to show off your IoT project. And we want to encourage more organisations to take diversity seriously in their data.

  A follow-up event to our launch sessions, this half-day event is all about sharing stories and projects where using data in health and social care has made a difference.

  The IoT Showcase is back! We welcome all IoT projects, from the home-made and DIY to the shiny and life-changing.

  Mon 27 April 2020
  We will revisit the diversity data hackathon from 2019 to see what more can be done to encourage organsations to collect and publish data about their workforce.

  Weds 29 April 2020
  The climate crisis stops for no-one so we're hosting another #PlanetData event to share more projects, revisit others, and prompt some climate action.
