Dimitri Vogelaar joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Netherlands in 2003. After postings at the Western Hemisphere Department and overseas to Luanda and London, he was appointed Deputy Head International Cyber Policy in August 2016. In 2020 he returned to The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands as Head of Economic Affairs. He holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam and an MA in International Economics from the University of Manchester.
