In this event, we focused on how we plan for and manage real time response to changing climate for major infrastructure, communications with People & Customers who may be vulnerable & also assisting Primary Care response.
We worked together in a facilitated way to rapidly share knowledge - identify work that needs innovation and design and scope projects for rapid implementation.
As always, we publish everything we do openly on the web. If you would like to get involved, please contact us at hello@open-innovations.org

Running Order
Prior to the day we asked all of the participants to do three things.
- Identify use cases where we could have used better data infrastructure to plan and help our response to recent climate events i.e. where we could improve.
- Identify examples of where data has been used to plan and respond effectively to recent climate events i.e. we have done well.
- Think about and identify how other organisations/sectors/industries/people are or have responded well.
We structured the day in two parts.
In the morning session, we collectively explored what needs to be worked on and improved and where we could make a difference. We shared examples, experiences and known use cases and user needs.
In the afternoon session, we brought the conversation round to identifying areas of priority and started to structure potential collaborations to build concept bids for programmes of work and potential funding streams.
