We can help you return to work safely post lockdown - If you are fed up of working on the kitchen table, sharing your temporary office space with the kids or just need a welcome change of scenery, ODILeeds safe space has the answer to help you transition return to work. We have a few large, socially distanced, comfortable and most importantly safe desks available to rent by the day.

Conveniently and centrally located in Leeds our coworking space is large, well ventilated, airy and safe on the top floor of Munro House. With large, comfortable desk, ergonomic seating and superfast wifi, Open Innovations offers you a solution for remote working in these unprecedented times.

As Open Innovations is an independent not for profit you will also be supporting local and small independent businesses - so what are you waiting for - get in touch to book your desk for the day.

We have a coworking etiquette that we ask all coworkers to read and follow so that the space remains a comfortable and welcoming space for everyone.

    We want you to work well. Our space is purpose designed for comfort, flexibility, and purpose. Re-cycled materials in our desks, task chairs, lighting and custom-built furniture adds to our sustainability ethos. Stand, sit, share, socialise - mix it up, make use of the space. Our task chairs are super comfy, the desks extra big, coffee on tap, plenty of natural light, plants to reduce CO2, and extra little unexpected touches to help make your day.

  • Food and Drink

    Unlimited Yorkshire Tea, filter coffee and water are free. Plus we offer a selection of soft drinks, juices, premium bean-to-cup coffee and snacks in our in-house 'Tuck Shop' for silly prices. Cafe 164 is on site downstairs for more substantial lunches, and Kirkgate Market with all the street food options you could wish for is just a stroll across the road.

    Working at Open Innovations provides a place to get work done and meet with a growing community of like-minded people. Our space is used by a diverse range of individuals, start-ups and small independent organisations. All of our work is Open and we encourage coworkers to get involved.

    Our team has a wealth and depth of knowlege in the data, tech, and innovation sector. Open Innovations hosts and mentors some of the start-ups as part of the wider ODI Start-up programme. As a friendly, helpful, and accessible team please ask for help.

  • Events

    Friday lunchtime lectures, Hack Days, Data Drives, Tech meet-ups, Training, Algoraves, parties - we love a good event at Open Innovations and our space is naturally suited as a venue for such activity. We have an open Google Calendar which features all of our events. Coworkers will find out first about all of our innovative open events.
